I first got turned on to Howie B when he collaborated w/ Sly and Robbie on “Drum and Bass Strip To The Bone” in 1999. Talk about sonic vision!

Soon after that he recorded this album called “Folk” which could be an early marker for folktronica music. At least for me. I think I paid over 30 bucks for this import, as I was fiendish for something to follow that bone project.

Anyone else ever listen to this one? What’s Howie B been up to? His wikipedia entry is pretty thin and I found a post elsewhere saying he was involved w/ fashion.
